Dr. Kristen (Kay) Krueger, D.C.
Dr. Kay grew up in Wiarton Ontario, Canada. With the love and support of her family, she has become the first chiropractor in the Krueger generations. She developed a love for people and a passion to serve at a young age by learning from her father, a commercial airline pilot and her mother, a banker. She grew up outdoors "oot and aboot" with the moose, hiking in the summertime and enjoying the snow in the winter. At the age of twelve she began playing competitive ice hockey and fell in love with the comradery of the sport. She suffered a head injury while playing hockey that lead to finding her calling as a chiropractor.
Dr. Kay graduated from Parker University in Dallas, Texas with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and achieved a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Kinesiology (the study of the human body) at Brock University (St. Catherines, Ontario). She then moved to Alabama with her husband Brandon in 2016. She takes special interest in adjusting extremities, sports chiropractic, and its effects on athletic performance growing up playing sports personally.
"Why I am a Doctor of Chiropractic"
"Because I honor the inborn potential of everyone to be truly healthy. Because I desire to help the newborn, the aged, and those without hope. Because I choose to care for the patient with the disease, not the disease. Because I wish to assist rather than intrude; to free rather than control. Because I seek to correct the cause, and not its effect. Because I know that doctors do not heal, only the body can heal itself. Because I have been called to serve others. Because I want to make a difference. Because every day I get to witness miracles. Because I know it's right"
